Creed Lacy, 82, of Fairplay, Kentucky, died Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 6:47 P.M. at TJ Health/ Columbia Emergency Room.
He was born October 28, 1934, in Adair County, to the late Elbert Tom and Glawdon Grider Lacy. He was saved at Emory Chapel United Methodist Church and attended Hadley’s Community Church for several years. He was a US Army Veteran and drove a school bus for the Adair County School System for 46 years.

His wife – Willa Bledsoe Lacy of Fairplay
Two daughters and sons-in-law – Mackie Jo and Charles Pennington, Tamara and James Davidson all of Fairplay
One brother and sister-in-law – Harold and Carol Lacy of Fairplay
Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Hadley and Rev. Elbert Hadley officiating
Burial in McClister Cemetery with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097
Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Tuesday
