Dale Alfred Napper, 74, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at his home, surrounded by family and friends.
He was born March 9, 1942, in Hamdon, Ohio, to the late Gartie and Stella Honaker Napper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife of 44 years, Wilma Napper. He was retired from Rockwell and DuPont, formerly owned an auto parts store in Mt. Sterling, was owner, promoter and avid fan of late model dirt track racing. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, a Mason and Kentucky Colonel.

One son – Jeff (Sherry) Napper of Winchester
Three step-sons – James David Speer,II of Cane Valley, Mark Allen (Latrica) Speer of Campbellsville, John Daniel (Tonya) Speer of Columbia
One step-daughter – Sarah Jane Speer Humphress (Keith) of Campbellsville
One granddaughter and two great-grandchildren – Ericka Napper, Shelby Sturgill, Jackson Mills all of Lancaster
Eight step-grandchildren and three step great -grandchildren
One brother – John (Sharon) Napper of Jacksonville, NC
Two sisters – Loretta (Joe) McCarty of Raymond, OH, Nancy Clemente of Lake City, FL
A sister-in-law – Gale (Jim) Swafford of Winchester
A host of other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. EST at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester with burial in Clarmont Memorial Gardens in Clark County
Visitation on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. CST at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home and on Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. EST at Scobee Funeral Home in Winchester
