Glenna Cowan, 56, of Columbia, died Monday, January 2, 2017 at 9:32 P.M. at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.

She was born October 21, 1960, in Adair County, to the late Walker & Doris McGaha Cowan.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Sam, W.T., Kenny, Cassius & Leonard Cowan, and four sisters, Peggy Fudge, Carol Luttrell, Patricia Montgomery & Gertrude Burton.  She received her master’s degree in human services & counseling and was a social worker.

Survivors Include:

Seven Brothers – Darrell (Lisa), Phillip (Sherry) & Calvin (Bernice) Cowan all of Columbia, Roger Cowan of Montpelier, Donnie (Phyllis) Cowan of Campbellsville, Vaughn (Connie) Cowan of Cane Valley & Clifton Cowan of Russell Springs

Two Sisters – Leoda (Donnie) Curry of Columbia & Dora (Charlie) Ames of Illinois

Special Friend – Debbie Gray of Henderson

Several nieces & nephews, including four special nieces, Allison Bardin, Amy Mouser, BreAnna Coffey & Brooke Cowan

Funeral Service – Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Matthew Cowan & Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating

Burial in Bearwallow Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Thursday
