Irene Gilvin Peters, 87, of Clarksville, Indiana, died Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Riverview Village in Clarksville.

She was born November 10, 1929, in Adair County, to the late Davis & Gladys Scott Keltner.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gilvin, one son, Stanley Gilvin, two brothers, Lenus & William Keltner, and two sisters, Esther Brock & Myrtle Richard.  She was of the Pentecostal faith & a seamstress.

Survivors Include:

One Daughter – Juanita Goble of Columbia

Four Grandchildren – Donald Goble of Columbia, Angela Goble of Meade County, Richard Goble of Louisville & Cynthia Highland of Louisville

Five Great-Grandchildren & One Great-Great-Grandchild

Two Brothers – Weldon Keltner of Columbia & Jody Keltner of Campbellsville

One Sister – Josephine Rigney of LaGrange

Funeral Service – Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Nathaniel Roemer officiating

Burial in Tarter’s Chapel Cemetery

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday
