Martha Caldwell, 88, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Thursday, December 28, 2017 at her home.

She was born March 22, 1929, in Adair County, to the late Mont and Mattie Keltner Maupin.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Caldwell on June 19, 1985, by her brother, James C. Maupin and two sisters, Libby Dohoney and Frances Pepper.  She was a member of Columbia Christian Church and retired from the USDA.

Survivors include:

One daughter – Marsha Grider and her husband Tommy of Columbia

One son – Bryan Caldwell and his wife Crystal of Columbia

Four grandchildren – Todd Grider and his wife Missy, Julie Tucker and her husband Chris, Grant and Mason Caldwell

One great-granddaughter – Paige Grider

Funeral service – Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Martin officiating

Burial in Columbia Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Saturday
