Sue P. Lacy, 90, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, December 16, 2016 at 8:20 P.M. at Signature Health Care at Summit Manor.

She was born December 28, 1925, in Burkesville, Kentucky, to the late Ovid and Wonnie Simpson Page.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Lee Lacy in 2008 and by her brother, Johnny Ben Page.

She was a dedicated member of Sparksville Church of the Nazarene, serving in many capacities and a retired educator having taught for 30 years in various school systems.  When she retired, she was teaching at Sparksville Grade Center.

Survivors include:

Her son – Roger Lacy of Frankfort, KY

Her niece and nephew – Susan Page and Stephen Page

Several Lacy nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Sparksville Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Lonny Karnes and Mary Ruth Claywell officiating

Burial in Fudge Cemetery in Breeding

Visitation on Monday from 5-8pm and Tuesday from 6-9am at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home and after 10am, Tuesday at the church.

Memorials are requested to be in the form of a donation to the Alzheimer's Association.  These may be left at the funeral home.
