Anthony Bridgewater

Anthony DeCarlo “Tony Bass” Bridgewater, 62, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, December 7, 2018 at TJ Health/Columbia.

He was born October 2, 1956, in Adair County, formerly worked in construction, enjoyed fishing, watching the UK Wildcats and loved his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene “Dukie” Hughes, his mother; Jeanette Jones Bridgewater, one daughter; Telica Taylor, three brothers; Billy Bridgewater, Jimmy & Billy Curry and three sisters; Deborah & Eyvonne Bridgewater & Jean Jones

Survivors include:

One son – Taran Taylor of Columbia

Two daughters – Tera & Antoinette Childers both of Columbia

Four brothers – Keenan “Redbone” Bridgewater of Frankfort, Charles Curry of Louisville, Rod & Mark Curry both of Columbia

Six sisters – Leetta Willis of Lexington, Jane Walkup, Kathy Bridgewater, Rhonda Jones and Vonda Bridgewater all of Columbia, Jada Jones of Bowling Green

Seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 12 Noon at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home

Burial in Jones Cemetery

Visitation after 6:00 P.M. Friday
