Barbara Curry Obituary

Barbara Jean Curry, 79, of Columbia, died Monday, March 11, 2019 at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green.

She was born October 14, 1939 in Cumberland County to the late Willie & Lovie Long Radford.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard “Burr” Curry in 1984.  Barbara was a member of the Columbia Church of Christ and was retired from Fruit of the Loom.

Survivors Include:

Two Sons – James Curry & wife Robyn of Columbia & Steve Curry of Stockbridge, GA

One Daughter – Gina Harmon & husband Johnny of Columbia

Two Brothers – Phillip Radford of Shepherdsville & Frank Radford of Columbia

Seven Grandchildren – Abe Curry, Shawna Curry, Sheavon Taylor, Jacob Curry, Chasity Bennett, Jessica Froedge & Brooke Downey

Eight Great-Grandchildren

Several other relatives & friends also survive

Funeral Service – Friday, March 15, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Mike Ellis & Lenny Stone officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Thursday

Casket Bearers – Dale Anderson, Doug Radford, Kerry Radford, Larry Radford, Casey Taylor & Adam Bennett

Barbara’s grandchildren will serve as honorary casket bearers
