Billy Karnes

Billy Karnes, 56, of Columbia, died Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 8:12 A.M. at his home. 

Billy was born April 27, 1962 in Lincoln, IL.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Osby Karnes, Sr. & Dorothy Price Karnes; one sister, Rose Marie Karnes; and one brother-in-law, Larry “NuNu” Nally.  He was a United States National Guard Veteran, attended Hutchison Community Church and a former gas station attendant at Gate.

One Son – Kendrick Rayburn of Columbia

One Daughter – Kylie Rayburn of Russell Springs

Two Grandchildren – Julian & Arabella Hammonds

One Brother – Osby “Buddy” (Clemantine) Karnes, Jr. of Glensfork

Three Sisters – Nancy (John) Mann of Harrisonburg, VA, Angelina Nally of Springfield & Norma (Tim) Wiggington of Nancy

Father-in-law – Donnie Dyer of Columbia

Mother-in-law – Carolyn Dyer of Columbia

Graveside Service – Monday, November 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Bearwallow Cemetery with Bro. Larry Brown officiating

Burial in Bearwallow Cemetery with full military honors presented by VFW Post 6097

Visitation will begin at 10:30 A.M. at the cemetery
