Bobby "Bob" Tackett, Sr., 79, of Columbia, died Sunday, September 17, 2017 at TJ Health Columbia.

He was born April 12, 1938, in Morehead, Kentucky, to the late Clyde James & Artie Johnson Tackett.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Tackett, and one sister, Vanetta Tackett.  He was a United States Navy Veteran and a retired truck driver for Giant Foods in Maryland & Sears in Florida.

His Wife – Diane Anderson Tackett of Columbia

One Son – Bobby Ray Tackett, Jr. of Columbia

One Step-Daughter – Gina (Tom) Hinebaugh of Columbia

Two Grandchildren – Rainy & A.J. Jennett

One Brother – Mike Tackett of Florida

Two Sisters – Kitty & Carolyn both of Florida

Special Uncle – Harold Tackett of Morehead

At Bob’s request, cremation has been chosen and no services will be held.
