Elizabeth (Giles) Melton

Elizabeth Jane Melton, 58, of Columbia, died Monday, September 3, 2018 at her home. 

She was born October 12, 1959 in Adair County to the late James Marion & Thelma Hudson Giles.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Melton, and one brother, James “Buster” Giles, Jr.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Campbellsville & a homemaker.

Survivors Include:

One brother – Bobby Giles of Columbia

Five sisters – Zilpha Payton, Connie Wilson, Patricia Abston, Dinah Giles & Wanda Giles all of Columbia

Her biological children – Christopher & Pamela Stephens both of Jamestown

Her friend – Lester Coyle of Columbia

Nine Grandchildren

Graveside Service – Friday, September 7, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. at Tabernacle Cemetery with Bro. Steve Martin officiating

Burial will follow the service

There will be no visitation

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
