Frances Finn, 93, of Columbia, formerly of the Portland Community in Adair County, died Friday, June 30, 2017 at 5:40 P.M. at Signature Healthcare at Summit Manor.
She was born July 30, 1923 in Adair County, to the late J.A. & Josie Rogers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Huston Finn on July 12, 2001, a son-in-law, Jerry Keltner, two grandchildren, Leah Lachelle Keltner & Richie Keltner, and a sister, Lavinia Coffey. She was a member of Pickett’s Chapel United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir, was retired from Fruit of the Loom after 31 years and was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan.
Survivors Include:
One Daughter – Sheila Keltner of Columbia
One Brother – Junior Rogers of Lebanon
One Sister – Magalyn Mullins of Louisville
Two Great-Grandchildren – Katie & Alex Keltner
One Granddaughter-in-law – Kim Keltner
One Sister-in-law – Carolyn Finn
Special Family Members – Ronnie & Sandra VanArsdale, Miriam & Josh Gibson
Several nieces & nephews also survive
Funeral Service – Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Pickett’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro. Rod Walley, Bro. Pat Smith & Bro. Barney Taylor officiating
Burial will follow in Columbia Cemetery
Visitation after 4:00 P.M. on Monday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home
