Jeanette Shearer

Jeanette Shearer, 67, of Somerset, formerly of Columbia, died Sunday, June 16, 2019 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. 

She was born December 17, 1951 in Adair County to the late Bryant & Cittie Melson Shearer.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Jenell Shearer & Dorothy Yates.  Jeanette attended Russell Heights Baptist Church, enjoyed bowling, dancing, John Wayne movies, gospel & Elvis Pressley music and loved to travel.  She was welcomed into the Tri-Generations family where she had many friends and relationships that encouraged and supported her to live her life fully.

One Brother – Ralph Shearer & his wife Pam of Columbia

Special Cousin – Ruth (Gene) Melson of Columbia

Caregiver – Deanna Osborne of Somerset

Several nephews & cousins also survive

Funeral Service – Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Martin officiating

Burial will follow in the Shearer Cemetery

Visitation after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday
