Margaret Marple Obituary

Margaret Jewell Marple, 83, of Campbellsville, died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville.

She was born January 21, 1935 in Taylor County to the late Edgar & Jessie Speer Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Garnett, Shelby Ray, Lee & William C. Davis, and two sisters, Barbara Collins & Edna Kerr.

Survivors Include:

Six Children – Connie Marple, Pam Thomas & husband Bobby, Judy Harris & husband Randall all of Campbellsville, Rachel Moss & husband Jimmy of Columbia, Karen Lowery & husband Kenny of Bradfordsville, Billy Marple & wife Lavern of Greensburg

Two Sisters – Louise Kerr of Dayton, OH & Jean Mattingly of Bardstown

Two Brothers – Johnny & Bobby Davis both of Campbellsville

Nine Grandchildren – Candi Jo Thorsen, Jessica Moss, Brent Moss, Matt Thomas, Ashley Thomas, Gary Daniel Harris, Joshua Harris, Amber Curtis & Brian Lowery

18 Great-Grandchildren & One Great-Great-Grandchild

Cremation was chosen at Ms. Marple’s request and a celebration of life service will be held later by the family.
