Mary Edna Hadley, 90, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 9:25 P.M. at her home

She was born June 5, 1926, in Adair County, to the late Loren and Annie Cundiff Hadley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Hadley, a granddaughter, Brittany Dwan Brockman and her brother and sister, Bro. Buford Hadley and Jessie Sullivan.

She was a Field Representative for the Kentucky Farm Workers Program, attended Trinity United Methodist Church, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Westlake Regional Hospital Auxiliary and very involved in numerous other community activities.

Survivors include:

Three sons – Dwight (Carolyn) Hadley, Dwan (Laverne) Hadley, Terry (Rita) Hadley all of Columbia

Two daughters – Susan (James) Brockman of Paducah, Patricia Zatkoff of Columbia

Her sister-in-law – Margaret Hadley of Cundiff

A very special friend – Carol Murphy of Columbia

Eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro.  William Davenport and Bro. Michael Helm officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Friday

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Hosparus of Green River, St. Jude's or Gideon Bibles.  These can be made at the funeral home.
