Mildred (Dohoney) Hodges

Mildred Hodges, 94, of Columbia, died Friday, January 11, 2019 at Summit Manor Health & Rehab Center. 

She was born October 31, 1924 in Adair County to the late Christopher Columbus & Hallie Clarkson Dohoney.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hartsell Hodges in 2002; one son, James Terry Hodges in 1987; one sister, Maxine VanHoy; and five brothers, Joe, Billy Ray, Harry Lee, Eugene & Bob Dohoney.  She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church & a homemaker.

Survivors Include:

Two Sons – Mike Hodges & his wife Sherry of Bowling Green, Tony Hodges & his wife Chonda of Glensfork

One Daughter – Kathy Dean & her husband Roy of Columbia

Daughter-in-law – Marcella Hodges of Columbia

Eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren & one expected great-grandchild

Several other relatives & friends also survive

Funeral Service – Monday, January 14, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Pescososlido officiating

Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 2:00 P.M. Sunday
