Raquel Ieasha Anyega, 14, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 8:10 A.M. at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington from injuries received in an accident on October 28, 2016 on Liberty Road in the Pellyton community.

She was born September 24, 2002, in Campbellsville, Kentucky.  She was an Eighth Grader at Adair County Middle School and enjoyed all sports, especially track and field, dancing and music.  She professed her faith in Christ and was baptized and was involved in the youth activities at Columbia First Church of the Nazarene.

Her parents – Jeannie Abston and Levis Anyega of Columbia

One brother – Chauncey Abston of Columbia

Maternal grandparents – Paul Abston and Marie Seals both of Columbia

Maternal great-grandmother – Wilma Jean Keith of Columbia

Paternal grandparents – Alfred Momanyi Anyega and Anna Momanyi Anyega of Arizona

Funeral service – Monday, November 7, 2016 at 12 Noon at Adair County Middle School with Pastor Tom Legg officiating

Burial in Union Cemetery

Visitation after 3:00 P.M. Sunday and after 8:00 A.M. Monday at Adair County Middle School
