Ruby (Baker) Rodgers

Ruby Rodgers, 67, of Columbia, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the Russell County Hospital. 

She was born June 23, 1951 in Adair County to the late Oscar & Mary Pearl Nelson Baker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell & Odell Baker, and one sister, Edith Brown.  Ruby attended Pickett’s Chapel United Methodist Church and was a retired supervisor of Osh Kosh B’Gosh.

Survivors Include:

Her Husband – Danny Joe Rodgers of Columbia

One Son – Byron (Erica) Rodgers of Columbia

Two Daughters – Shelley (Shawn) Phillips & Misty (Jarrod) Willis all of Columbia

Eight Grandchildren – Jayden & Trevor Willis, Christgen & Jenna Rodgers, Byron & Ryder Rodgers, Maddox & Addison Phillips

One Brother – Ronnie Baker of Columbia

Two Sisters – Becky (Bradley) Bean of Louisville & Tena (Telsie) Fudge of Breeding

Several other relatives & friends also survive

Funeral Service – Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating

Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Friday

Casket Bearers – Wade Rodgers, Steven Baker, Jayden Willis, Trevor Willis, Byron Rodgers & Christgen Rodgers
