Ruth Bell, 67, of Columbia, died Monday, June 05, 2017 at 4:15 A.M. at T.J. Health Columbia Emergency Room. 

She was born February 23, 1950, in Adair County, to the late Andy Clifton & Ada Richard Parson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lee Bell on July 23, 2002; two sons, Eugene & Ricky Bell; two brothers, Carl & Leroy Parson; and one sister-in-law, Stella Parson.  She was a member of Gradyville Baptist Church and worked in the dietary department at Green Hill Manor in Greensburg. 

Survivors Include:

One Son – Sam (Leigh Ann) Bell of Columbia

One Daughter – Lizzie Bell of Columbia

Four Brothers – Vernon (Sharon), Clell (Pauline), Willard (Shelia) & Steve (Tina) Parson all of Columbia

Three Grandchildren – Stephanie, Curtis & Billy Bell

Several other relatives & friends

Funeral Service – Thursday, June 8, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Willard Parson officiating

Burial will follow in Columbia Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Wednesday
