Sarantos "Sam" Genakos

Sarantos “Sam” Genakos, Sr., 67, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 11:52 P.M. at TJ Health/Columbia Emergency Room.

He was born February 16, 1951, in Lowell, MA, to the late Theodore Sarantos and Lucille Falardeau Genokas and was a retired Machinist.  He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Terri Genakos in 2015.

Survivors include:

Two sons – Nicolas Genokas (Whitney) of Sellersburg, IN and Sammy Genakos (Amanda Elser) of Columbia

One daughter – Kelly Hayes (Kenton) of Milltown

Three brothers – Jack Genakos of NH, Ted Genakos and George Garabedian both of MA

Six grandchildren – Blake and Elliott Biggs, Trent Hayes, Kynslee Hayes, Kaylee Genakos, Ethan Genakos

Visitation on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home
