Allen Cape, 73, of Cookeville, TN, formerly of Adair County, died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville.

He was born December 6, 1942, in Adair County, to the late Lawrence & Maggie Wright Cape.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Elsie Paris, Ruth Corbin, May Coffey & Letha Cape, and three other infant siblings.  He was a truck driver for Northshores Central Illinois Freight in Chicago and later became a self-employed truck driver.

His Wife of 51 Years – Patricia Scott Cape of Cookeville, TN
Three Sons – Ricky (Ramona) Cape of Louisville, Mark & Craig (Lora) Cape all of Cookeville, TN
One Brother – Donald (Bessie) Cape of Shepherdsville
Two Sisters – Faye Wert of Shepherdsville & Wanda (Charles) Reidlinger of Orland Park, IL
Six Grandchildren – Stephanie, Shaun, Alicia, Allen, Ashley & Matthew Cape
Two Step-Grandchildren – Jennifer & Robbie French
One Great-Grandchild – Kaos
Several Other Relatives & Friends also survive

Funeral Service – Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Ezell & Bro. Ralph Hadley officiating

Burial in Burchett Cemetery in Cundiff

Visitation after 9:00 A.M., Saturday

Memorials are requested to be in the form of a donation to Cookeville Nazarene Church.  These can be left at the funeral home.
