Alma Lou Long Green, 84, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, June 16, 2023 at 9:35 P.M. at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

She was born October 11, 1938, in Adair County, to the late James O. and Annie Cecil Bault Long.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Green on July 20, 2020 and the following siblings, Lucille Young, Felix, Earl, Elby and Everett Long.

Survivors include:

Her daughter and son-in-law – Sherry and Mike Parnell of Columbia

Her granddaughter – Benisha Parnell of Columbia

Her great-grandchildren – Chandler and Alyssa Wilson both of Columbia

One brother – Morgan Long and his wife Diana of Columbia

Two sisters – Kathleen Thompson of Knifley and Elaine Clark and her husband Joe of Leithchfield

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Monday, June 19 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Dick Scholl officiating

Burial in Jones Chapel Cemetery

Visitation after 9:30 A.M. Monday
