Audie Rich

Audie Rich, 102, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, died Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Massey Springs in Bowling Green

He was born March 3, 1923, in Adair County, to the late O.L. and Martha Ether Sapp Rich.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Celestine Ellis Rich on March 25, 2014 and the following siblings, Pina Lee Pyles, Jewell Dick, Hilda Davidson, Nadine Giles, Evelyn Bolt, Zella B. Cundiff, Herbert Rich, Dennis Rich and James Rich.

Mr. Rich was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in World War II and a retired businessman, operating Cambridge Tile Company in Cincinnati, Ohio for many years.  He was recognized as Veteran of the Year in 2024 by the V.F.W. in Bowling Green.

Survivors include:

One son – Vic Rich (Terry) of Mason, Ohio

One daughter – Rhonda Strautman (Ken) of Bowling Green

Two brothers – Stanley Rich and Malcolm Rich both of Columbia

One sister – Radine Rich of Columbia

Four grandchildren – Michael Strautman, B.J. Strautman, Karla Webb and Jenna Leach

Nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Coloros officiating

Burial in Barnett’s Creek Cemetery with full military honors presented by Casey County Veterans Honor Guard

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Saturday
