Barbara Ann (Hance) Collins

Barbara Ann Collins, passed away on October 11th 2025 at her home in Kentucky.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Tony Collins January 4th, 2024. She is also predeceased by two brothers, Jim Hance, Peter Hance, a niece, Carrie McClintock and three nephews, Michael Foster, Jason McClintock and Brian Egnaczyk. She is also predeceased by her mother-in-law, Ms. Mamie Louise Collins.

She is survived by her three children and three step children. Sophia Tebo(Chris) of Lowville, Derrick Garnsey, and Stephen Krug.  Her step children: Elisha Collins, Eric Collins(Kimberly) and Natasha Reeves(Durand). She is survived by several grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters: Lorraine Luebbert(Darrell), Patricia Hance, Margaret Hance(Ken McClintock) and one brother, Paul Hance. She also had several nieces and nephews that she is survived by.

Barbara was born on August 22, 1965 in Lowville, NY to parents Marian Vandenberg and James Harold Hance.

In 1993 she was united in marriage at St. Mary’s Catholic Church to Harold Krug.

Later in life she moved to Lexington, Kentucky where she met Tony Collins who she loved dearly and united in marriage on March 17th, 2023.

She worked at Speaks Marathon gas station in Lexington,  Kentucky for a few years and enjoyed bringing smiles and laughter to all the customers she met.

There will be a graveside service later in the week for family and friends at the home of Margaret Hance in Knifley, Kentucky where she will be laid to rest.
