Bill Glen Selby

Bill Glen Selby, age 85, born on August 23, 1938.

He was a beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather who sadly left this world on July 11th, 2024.

Bill lived a rich life of service and kindness alongside his wife, Margaret for almost 60 years. He served his country in the United States Air Force and lived through the treacherous time of the Vietnam war.

After he left the military, he worked for Caterpillar Inc. until he retired.

Bill leaves behind his son, Mark Selby and wife, Jennyfer from Russell Springs, 16 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Lots of nieces and nephews who all loved him and thought the world of him. Bill was preceeded in death by his parents, Finis Lee Selby and Margaret Faye Bolei Selby; his son, Bryan Selby; his wife, Margaret Selby; and his twin sister, Virginia Gayle Vogel.

Per Bill’s wishes, cremation rites were honored by Grissom-Martin Funeral Home.

There was a private celebration of life held by the family.
