Billy Joe Patton

Billy Joe Patton age 86 of Columbia, KY passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his home.  Billy Joe was born on September 19, 1934 in Adair County, KY to the late Rufus and Flora York Patton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Alexander and Bobby Patton.  He was a retired farmer and carpenter.

Survivors Include:

Wife – Nelda Patton of Columbia, KY

One Son – Terry Patton (Christine) of Columbia, KY

One Daughter – Carolyn Burton (Tommy) of Columbia, KY

Four Grandchildren – Jennifer Coffey,  Kimberly Popplewell, Matthew Burton and Cheyenne Neat.

8 Great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service:

Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY with burial in the Freedom Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Wednesday, August 11, from 10:00 AM until time for the service.

Casket Bearers – Chris Popplewell, Larry Murray, Mitchell Rooks, Jessie Brown, Scott Coffey and Tommy Burton.

Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
