Brandon "Bubba" Sexton

Brandon “Bubba” Sexton was born April 3, 1980, in Campbellsville, KY, and passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, after an illness.

Brandon was owner and operator of Sexton Distributing.  He was an avid UK fan and enjoyed camping and golf, but what his friends and family will remember most is his quick wit and ability to make everyone laugh.  He brightened everyone’s day that he encountered.  Brandon truly never met a stranger.

In the days before his passing, Brandon made a special decision to accept Jesus Christ, a decision he shared with great pride and peace.

His wife – Jessica Cundiff Sexton of Columbia

His children – Kallen Sexton, Treyton Gist (Katelyn) and Austin Gist all of Columbia

His grandson – Reed Gist

His father – Mendel Sexton (LaGene) of Columbia

His mother – Ginger Brock Willis (David) of Columbia

His siblings – Bradley Sexton (Nikki) of Laurel, Maryland, Stephanie Coomer (Eric), Meridith Lee (Jordan), Joe Willis (Laura) all of Columbia

His grandparents – James and Kay Turner Brock of Bowling Green

Several other relatives and a host of friends

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Howard and Mary Rosaline Sexton

Funeral service – Friday, February 20, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Perry Dobbs and Bro. Jimmie Dale Cox officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 3:00 P.M. Thursday

In lieu of flowers, an Education Fund for Kallen Sexton will be established and the family would appreciate a donation to this, which can be left at the funeral home
