Brenda Sue Brown, 77, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, February 23, 2024 at her home.

She was born December 19, 1946, in Blackey, Kentucky, to the late Ben and Virginia Hamilton Caudill.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mervil Leon Brown, a daughter, Susan Harrison,  a son, Johnny Michael Sutton, a brother, Larry Ben Caudill and a sister, Gwen Caudill Simpson.  She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

Survivors include:

Two daughters – Holly Brown Snyder (Chris) of Glasgow and Sonja Bell (Rick) of Edmonton

One brother – Tim Caudill of Blackey, Kentucky

One sister – Nancy Caudill Oaks of Blackey, Kentucky

Eight grandchildren – Joseph Harrison, Ginger Sutton, Dylan Snyder (Amanda), Lexie Robbins (Matt), Landyn Houchens (Dillon), Emma Snyder, Raylan Bell, Twanna Abbott (Noah)

12 great-grandchildren – Noah, Riley, Trenton, Emilia, Brady, Addison, Keelan, Banks, Maylee, Lennix, Dawson, River and expecting #13, Christopher,  in the near future

Her companion of over 20 years – Gary Burton of Campbellsville

Burial in Ragan Cemetery
