Brenda (Overstreet) Geib Obituary

Brenda Geib, 75, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 31, 2026, surrounded by love and the promise of eternal life.

She was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and her love for the Lord was evident in the way she lived her life.  Her faith was steady; her heart was kind and her trust in God never wavered.  She lived with purpose, guided by scripture and sustained by prayer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Vina Holt Overstreet, three brothers, Charles Overstreet, Kenneth Overstreet, Russell Overstreet and two sisters, Eva Ross and Naomi Cave

Brenda was a devoted mother to her two son, Keith Biggs (Nicole) and John David Biggs both of Greensburg, a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and a treasured great-grandmother to four great-grandchildren.  Her family was her pride and joy, and she poured her love into each generation.  She was a sister to Earl Overstreet and Buddy Overstreet both of Indiana.

She was known for her spunky personality, quick wit and strong spirit.  She brought laughter, honesty and warmth wherever she went, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.  Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in the promise of God’s word “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith” 2Timothy 4:7.

Her legacy of faith, love and strength will continue to live on through her family and all who her life touched.
