C G Scott

C G Scott, 77, of the Bennett Ridge community in Adair County, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Green Hill Manor in Greensburg.

He was born February 22, 1944, in Adair County, to the late James Albert and Zada Mae Bennett.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Fay Scott, one brother, L V Scott and one sister, Lorene Bragg. He was a member of Big Creek Missionary Baptist Church and a retired farmer.

His wife – Mary Louise Montgomery Scott of Bennett Ridge

One son – Tony Scott (Angie) of Greensburg

Three grandsons – Conner, Curt and Carson Scott all of Greensburg

One sister – Audrey Cornett of Ohio

Several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Wayne Sexton officiating

Burial in Moore Cemetery

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Saturday
