Calvin Lee Brown

Calvin Lee Brown, 73, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his home.

He was born August 7, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Calvin Sylvanius and Joan Wethington Brown.  Calvin served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Marines, was a former officer with the Sheridan Police Department and Hamilton County Sheriff Department, a Life Member of the V.F.W. and American Legion.

His wife – Charlotte Kelsay Brown of Columbia

Three children – Jennifer Starrett (Phillip) of Peru, Indiana, Kristine Brown of Cicero, Indiana, David Brown (Kassie) of Nashville, Indiana

Two sisters – Deborah Altman of Austin, Texas, Cheryl Mitchell of Noblesville, Indiana

Eight grandchildren – Nicholas and Dustin Starrett, Alison Grider Cowart, Elijah, Emilie, Audrey, Wyatt and Wade Brown

Six great-grandchildren – Cara Starrett, Josalin Cowart, Jaden Starrett, Elijah R. Starrett, Evine Starratt and Jaxson Cowart

Several other relatives and friends

The family has chosen Cremation and services will be held at a later date
