Carolyn Sue Hale, 78, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at 10:17 A.M. at The Medical Center in Bowling Green.

She was born February 27, 1946, in Adair County, to the late Frank L. Jr., and Ruby Ellen Conover Crum.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Hale and her brother, Frank L. Crum, III.  Sue retired in 2024 from Journey to Independent Living as a Behavioral Therapist.

Survivors include:

Two step-children – George Hale, Jr. and Cathy Logan both of Louisville

Three sisters – Sandy Tackett of Calabash, North Carolina, Darlene Shepard (Dennis) of Louisville and Robin Phegley of Louisville

Three nephews, one niece, three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren

Funeral service – Friday, January 3, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Shelton officiating

Burial in Bearwallow Cemetery

Visitation after 12:00 P.M. Friday
