Carroll (Wheatley) Powell

Carroll Powell age 82 of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow. Carroll was born on May 24, 1942 in Marion County, Kentucky to the late Leo and Charlotte Wilson Wheatley. She was a former Chiropractor Assistant.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Anthony “Toot” Wheatley.

Her Husband- W.T. Powell of Glasgow, KY

One Son- Lee Powell and wife Daphne of Glasgow, KY

One Daughter- Ann Moore and husband Terry of Columbia, KY

Sister-in-law- Lena Wheatley of Madisonville, KY

Six Grandchildren- Shannon Tillberry and husband John of Edmonton, KY Kyle Matney and wife Brittany of Shreveport, LA Collin Cochran and wife Wynter of Groton, CT Caleb Powell and Caylee Powell both of Glasgow, KY and Amber Moore of Cynthiana, KY

Six Great Grandchildren- Melanie Reynolds, Ruger Reynolds, Bella Reynolds, June Tillberry, Percy Matney, and Oliver Cochran

And a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service:

Monday, June 10, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville St., Columbia, KY with burial in Columbia Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Sunday, June 9th from 5 P.M. till 8 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home
