Cashius Ray Beard

Cashius Ray Beard, 84, of Columbia, died Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born June 2, 1935 in Adair County to the late Cashius Daniel & Vesta Elizabeth Beard.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several siblings.  Cashius was a sawmill & construction worker. 

Survivors Include:

His Wife of 60 years – Frances Beard of Columbia

Two Sons – Daniel Beard & Audie Beard both of Columbia

One Daughter – Teresa (Kenneth) McGilton of Columbia

One Sister – Mattie Chrisman of Columbia

Seven Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren & one expected great-great-grandchild

Several other relatives & friends also survive

Funeral Service – Friday, December 13, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Conover officiating

Burial in Milltown Cemetery

Visitation after 11:00 A.M. on Friday
