Cathy (Bledsoe) Turner

Cathy Turner, 69, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 5:03 A.M. at her home.

She was born October 8, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky. Cathy was a faithful member of Emory Chapel United Methodist Church and a Certified Nursing Assistant, working at Summit Manor Nursing Home for 17 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Geneva Collins Bledsoe, her father, John Bledsoe, two grandchildren, Dustin Turner and Jennifer Bunch.

Survivors include:

Her husband – Larry Turner of Columbia

Two sons – Darren Turner (Ruthie) and Brian Turner (Nicole) all of Columbia

One daughter – Oliva Flowers of Columbia

Three sisters – Barbara Bunch (Jimmy) of Columbia, Tammy Bryant (David) and Karen Bledsoe all of Green County

One brother - David Bledsoe of Russell County

Nine grandchildren – Dakota Turner, Isaac Turner, Jillian Flowers, Caroline Flowers, Dixie Turner, Caleb Turner, Levi Turner, Amber McDougall (Will), Toby Green (Jennifer)

Two great-grandchildren – Elayna & Rilley McDougall

A special family – Logan, Laura, Hazel, Kaiden and Lennox Turner

Funeral service – Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Emory Chapel United Methodist Church with Bro. Richie Coomer and Bro. Roger Garner officiating

Burial in the AB Turner Cemetery at Chance

Visitation after 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home and after 12:00 P.M. Sunday at Emory Chapel United Methodist Church.  THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION AT THE FUNERAL HOME ON SUNDAY
