Charles Giles, 90, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville
He was born July 21, 1935, in Adair County. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Van Giles and his mother, Thelma Irene Dixon Hopkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Nadine Rich Giles on November 4, 2014.
Charles was a member of Trinity Church, a U.S. Army Veteran and a well-respected successful businessman in Adair County, owning G&G Motors, a farm implement dealership for 44 years.

One son and daughter-in-law – Dr. Chuck and Melissa Giles of Columbia
Four grandchildren – Chaz Giles (Samantha), Dr. Van Giles (Karli), Baylor Giles and Clay Giles
Four great-grandchildren – Josie Nae Giles, Charlie Freeborn Giles, Kip Stephen Giles and Guy Ellis Giles
One brother – Dee Giles of Florida
Two sisters – Frances Reynolds of Columbia and Judy Jones of Brownstown, Indiana
Also surviving are Gayle’s children, Amy Mitchum (Mike) and James Garrison (Paula), her grandchildren, Michael Mitchum (Tiffany), Mary Burton (Levi), Kayla Jones (Trent), Clint Garrison (Savannah), her nine great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation on Friday after 4:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 6:00 A.M. until 8:30 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at Trinity Church
