Charles Walton “Chuck” Rogers, 73, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Summit Manor Nursing Home.
He was born April 10, 1952, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Cantrill and Catherine White Rogers.
Chuck was a member of Columbia Church of Christ, former owner and operator of Johnson Candy Company, where he was known as “The Candy Man”, and enjoyed fishing.

His wife – Becky Johnson Rogers of Columbia
Two daughters – Tera McQueary of Columbia and Julie Bell (Chad) of Columbia
Two granddaughters – Hayley McQueary and Mylee Bell both of Columbia
One brother – Rick Rogers (Suzanne) of Columbia
One sister – Karla Stone (Lenny) of Columbia
Several other relatives and friends
Funeral service – Friday, February 27, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Columbia Church of Christ with Dean Roach officiating
Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery
Visitation from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Thursday and after 7:00 A.M. Friday at Columbia Church of Christ.
