Cindy Lou Hughes, 65, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, formerly of Adair County, died Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at her home.

She was born February 22, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Akin and her husband, Bill Hughes.

Survivors include:

Her mother – Martha Pierce Akin Cundiff and her husband Vernon of Bowling Green

One son – Bobby Miller of Munfordville

Two brothers – Bruce Akin of Campbellsville and Tim Akin of Anchorage, Alaska

Four grandchildren – Korbin Miller, Emberlyn Miller, Makayla Sparks, Katelyn Miller

Two great-grandchildren – Elysia Miller and Isabella Sparks

Funeral service – Friday, November 3, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Carroll officiating

Burial in Antioch Cemetery

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Friday
