Dakota "Coda" Tarter

Dakota “Coda” Tarter, 62, formerly of Columbia, died Monday, September 25, 2023 at her residence in Somerset

She was born April 28, 1961, in Adair County, to the late Edwin “Tootie” and Fannie Taylor Tarter.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, David Tarter and one sister, Linda Ford.

Survivors include:

Four brothers – Terry Tarter (Peggy Jo) of Glasgow, Charles Tarter (Kathy), Andy and Danny Tarter all of Columbia

Three sisters – Peggy Tarter of Somerset, Rosa Tarter and Carolyn Tarter both of Columbia

Several other relatives and friends

Graveside service – Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Columbia Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating

Burial to follow

There will be no visitation
