Danny Wayne Burton

Danny Wayne Burton, 72, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, September 12, 2025 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville

He was born February 27, 1953, in Adair County, to the late Delmer Lee and Arleter Burton.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Frankie Burton, Jackie Burton and Randal Burton and one sister, Captoila Burton.

Danny was a well-known businessman in the area as owner and operator of Burton’s Auction House for 44 years

Survivors include:

His wife of 46 years – Rita Rodgers Burton of Columbia

One son – Darrin Burton (Tangie) of Russell Springs

Two daughters – Becky Burton of Indiana and Danna Burton of Columbia

One brother – William Burton (Rosie) of Columbia

Two sisters – Shelia Burton and Deborah Burton Bryant (Danny) all of Columbia

Two grandchildren – Devin Burton of Indiana and Jase Burriss of Columbia

Funeral service – Monday, September 15, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Lehman officiating
