Darrell Lee “Tom Dooley” Phillips, 63, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, July 19, 2024 at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, Kentucky.

He was born November 21, 1960, in Adair County, to the late Joe and Inis Estes Phillips.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Phillips and a sister, Patricia Fisher.  Tom Dooley loved to fish, was a hard worker, whether he was trimming trees and shrubbery, mowing yards, or helping his brothers.

Five sisters – Diane Ford, Betty Burris (Richard), Sherry Biggerstaff (Danny), Marsha Rowe all of Columbia, Janice McCuiston of Murray

Brothers-in-law – Terry Sinclair and Jack Sinclair (Cindy) all of Columbia

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including a special nephew, Shawn Sinclair

Funeral service – Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery
