David Day, 87, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Monday, October 9, 2023 at Campbellsville Nursing & Rehab in Campbellsville.

He was born July 9, 1936, in Adair County, to the late Garland and Marie Ingram Day.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Brock Day, a brother, Billy Day and a granddaughter, Jenee Devine.

David was a member of Calvary Temple Church, serving as a Board Member for years and was an employee of Day & Day Feed for years.

Survivors include:

One daughter and son-in-law – Beverly and Ray Smith of Campbellsville

Two sons and daughters-in-law – Gary and Julie Day, Anthony and Ashley Day all of Columbia

Five grandchildren – Chase Smith, Garet Day, Austin Day, Annamarie Day, Jaimi Franklin

Two brothers – Bobby Day and Allen Day both of Columbia

His twin sister – Dorothy Mullins of Mississippi

Special nephew – Ray and his wife Jennifer Brock of Columbia

Funeral service – Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Temple Church with Pastor Troy McWhorter officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 6:00 A.M. Thursday at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Calvary Temple Church
