Deborah Jane Feese Martin, 67, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Norton’s Hospital Downtown in Louisville.

She was born November 29, 1957, in Adair County, to the late Joseph Estill and Eltha Sinclair Feese, Sr.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Craig Martin, two brothers and one sister, Bob Feese, Danny Feese and Sue Feese.

Deborah was a retired School Teacher from the Jefferson County Public Schools and attended Purdy Separate Baptist Church.

Survivors include:

One son – Joshua Davis Bean of Arizona

One granddaughter – Liberty Jane Bean of Columbia

Two brothers – Dickie Feese (Mary Lou) of Edmonton, Joe Feese (Margaret) of Versailles

Five sisters – Brenda Feese of Louisville, Jo Ann Curry (Lewis) of Columbia, Alice Burton of Columbia, Fay Garrett of Edmonton, Connie Feese of Columbia

A sister-in-law – Tammy Feese of Columbia

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Avery Russell officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Friday

At Deborah’s request, donations to any Abused Children Charity or the Humane Society would be appreciated instead of flowers. These can be left at the funeral home.
