Delpha Stephens, 74, of Columbia, died Sunday, August 18, 2013 at 2:22 A.M. at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.

She was born March 26, 1939, in Russell County, to the late Corla “Buck” & Theo Tarter Hughes.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Rajah, Dallas “Hi Jay”, C.V. “Bill” & Desoto “D.S.” Hughes, a sister, Marie Hart, and a granddaughter, Amy Jo Bryant.  She was a member of Calvary Temple Church and a homemaker.

Survivors Include:
Her Husband of 56 years – Rev. Homer Stephens of Columbia
Three Daughters – Tammy (Wayne) Bryant, Sherry Turner & Robin (Billy) Franklin all of Columbia
One Sister – Errie Atchley of Russell Springs
Four Grandchildren – Wes Bryant, Bethany Thompson, Tiffany Arnold & Cody Turner
Three Great-Grandchildren – Landon Bryant, Blaire Arnold & Amelia Thompson

A Home Going Service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Calvary Temple Church with burial to follow in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 3:00 P.M. Friday at Calvary Temple Church and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday at the church
