Derrick Shane Pickett, 27, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, January 26, 2024 at his home.

He was born August 12, 1996, in Glasgow, Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Gale Petty Cooper, an aunt, Deana Michelle Petty and paternal grandparents, Davis and Norma Pickett.

His maternal grandparents – Coy and Vickie Petty of Columbia

His father – Richard Shane Pickett of Texas

One sister – Joslyn Gale Pickett of Columbia

Aunt and Uncles – Troy Petty, Sheila Richard, Wayne Smith

Funeral service – Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery
