Donna Jessie, 72, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Monday, November 6, 2023 at The Grandview Nursing and Rehab in Campbellsville.

She was born August 1, 1951, in Adair County, to the late Bailey J. and Della Garner Polston.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D.L. Jessie, Jr., a son, Steven Jessie and the followings siblings; Arvis, Elvin, Herman and Bob Polston, Shirley Smith, Allene Ragland, Mae Mann, Eva Pollard.

Donna was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and worked by her late husband’s side in Jessie’s Fruit Market.

Survivors include:

One son and daughter-in-law – Lee and Joni Jessie of Columbia

One daughter and son-in-law – Kim and Brett Farmer of Columbia

Seven grandchildren – Landon, Baylee and Lauren Jessie, Issac, Luke, Jacob and Gabrielle Farmer

One brother – Phillip “Bud” Polston of Indiana

Three sisters – Josephine David and Virginia Wood both of Indiana and Jean Hagy of Louisville

Several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Friday, November 10, 2023 at `11:30 A.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Johnson, Bro. Aaron LaBarge and Phillip “Little Bud” Polston officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Thursday
