Earl Dean Kimbler

Earl Dean Kimbler, 68, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the home of his daughter after an illness

He was born June 13, 1957, in Gibson City, Illinois, to the late Joe Landon and Mary Elizabeth Wilkerson Kimbler.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rhoda Davis Kimbler, one brother, Billy Kimbler and three sisters, Sharon Maholm, Joyce Conover, Judy Shanahan.

Earl worked in the oil fields for C.G. Collins for many years, farmed and was a carpenter.

Survivors include:

One son – Benji Kimbler (Clarissa) of Columbia

One daughter – Crystal Kimbler (Jay Johnson) of Columbia

Three brothers – Donnie Kimbler, Jeff Kimbler and Ricky Kimbler all of Russell Springs

Two sisters – Shelia Murphy of Columbia and Linda York of Russell Springs

Nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren

Special friend – Mark Coomer of Columbia

Several other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Friday, September 12, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Jodi Perkins officiating

Burial in Freedom Cemetery

Visitation after 11:00 A.M. Friday
