Earline Bryant

Earline Bryant, 94, of Glasgow, Kentucky, died Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 3:00 A.M. at the home of her brother and sister-in-law.

She was born November 29, 1928, in Adair County, to the late Lee and Ursli Pierce Bryant.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Joe Bryant and his wife, Beverly Bryant. She retired from the Pendleton County School System and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Glasgow.  Miss Earline Bryant (Aunt Earline to her family) was a schoolteacher for many years. One of her first teacher roles was teaching in a one room classroom of all grades up to 8th. She walked 3 miles to and from school where she built the fires and gathered water from a well. Another aspect of teaching was her transportation, she rode her horse to and from school. She loved each and every one of her students and provided for them when they were in need.  She took care of her mother and father until they passed. In 1992 she moved to Glasgow Kentucky and bought a home right in front of her brother (S.E. Bryant and wife Elveda Bryant. ). She is preceded in death by a brother Billy Joe Bryant and his wife Beverly Bryant. She was a strong, independent, innocent, loving, caring, wise, giving, and humble woman. S.E. and Elveda Bryant, her best friend, took care of her when she was unable to push herself as she had done for so long. She still tried until the very end.

Great Nieces and Nephews - Caitlin Walters, Lauren Walters, Braydon Dixon, Tristan Taylor, Lain Taylor, Wyatt Dombrowski, Scarlett Dombrowski and Tristan Dombrowski

We love her and were so blessed to have her as a staple in our lives for so long.

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday
