Edra "Bobbie" Nell (Jessee) Collins

Edra Nell “Bobbie” Collins, 87, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, February 6, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born in Metcalfe County on February 14, 1938, to the late Edward and Millie Jane Sparks Jessee.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Collins, Sr., a son, James S. Collins, Jr. and her siblings, Kizzie Gilpin, Arleen Jessee, Ruth Jessee Wade, Eulis Jessee, J.B. Jessee and Charles Jessee.

She was a member of Columbia Church of Christ and a homemaker.

Survivors include:

Three sons – Ricky Collins (JoAnn) of Columbia, Kerry Collins (Lynda) of Campbellsville and Jeff Collins (Shannon) of Columba

Four daughters – Marsha Collins, Cynthia Collins, Sandra VanArsdale (Kenneth) all of Columbia and Judy Snider (Tom) of Edmonton

24 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren

Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 1:30 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Hugh Gannon and Nick Pace officiating

Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Monday

Casket Bearers – Andrew VanArsdale, Jonathan VanArsdale, Dylan Collins, Jason Collins, Michael Collins, Lee Cook

Honorary will be the remaining Grandchildren
