Elizabeth (Corbin) VanArsdale

Elizabeth VanArsdale, 89, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at her home.

She was born June 14, 1935, in Adair County, to the late Charlie and Louella Coomer Corbin.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, JC VanArsdale on July 27, 2022, and all of her siblings, Odell, Eurial and Harlan Corbin, Lyda Matney, Beatrice Coffey, Runa Willis and Shirley Gilpin.  She was member of Living by Faith Church and a homemaker.

Survivors include:

Three sons – Daryl VanArsdale (Trudy), Alan VanArsdale (Beth), Kevin VanArsdale (Kesha) all of Columbia

One daughter – Lesa Withers (Bobby) of Columbia

Eleven Grandchildren – Tyron, Tim and Noah VanArsdale, Ashley Adams, Mandy Cross, Josh Withers, Lauren Fletcher, Heather Stargle, Danielle Wilson, Case and Colton Grant

11 great-grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Funeral service – Saturday, August 3, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Withers and Pastor Johnny Hood officiating

Burial in Columbia Cemetery

Visitation after 4:00 P.M. Friday
